In April, the judges of the National Egg & Poultry Awards held a conference call to examine all the entries and come up with the finalists in each category. It was a tough job, with lots of excellent applicants. Some categories had a wide range of entries. The judges – Charles Bourns, Richard Griffiths, Mark Williams, Chloe Ryan, Paul Kelly, and Gary Ford – agreed there was a very high standard of entrant – and each winner will have made a significant achievement.
